Description:
1894 Winchester 38-55 with 28" octagon barrel. Standard length was 26" so this is a special order gun. The serial number is 147,xxx. The bore shows some frosting but nice defined rifling. Overall rifle is tight. Some screws are in rougher shape. Wood has no major cracks or breaks but does show bumps and bruises. Nice 2 line address is well defined. Marked 38-55. Rare Special order early 1894 in the best caliber! This won't last long!
