Description:
This Enfield Long Branch Factory No.4 Mk1* in .303 British is a good condition war time rifle. The dark wood stock is in good conditon even with its age. There is a military rack number painted on the LH butt stock. The blued metal is faded in spots, which is what you would expect from an unrestored WW II British battle rifle from 1943. There are the normal sign of wear and use, but not abused. The rifled bore is dirty, but still has good rifling gooves and lands. The factory trigger is firm with a crisp release. The Enfield No. 4 was the last production made. The Enfield No. 4 is the most popular and most desired of all the production Enfields. There is plenty of life left in this example of Enfield quality. No box.
