Here's a Genuine Winchester U.S. Model 1897 Trench Gun With Winchester Bayonet . Late 1943 gun .The Barrel on this Trench is original , its called a full choke line out cyl. barrel. if you go to Bruce N. Canfields Book called The M1 Garand Rifle you will find referance on these ww2 replacement barrels .This gun is WW2 Correct. Sling is marked 1944. Overall condition is excellent ! Bore and mechanics are excellent. Locks up tight .Wood is excellent . Wood does have a clean crack at butt. See photos. Overall in excellentplus Condition. Nice looking trench gun.
