Here is an LC Smith Specialty grade, single barrel trap shotgun in 12 gauge with a 32 inch barrel. This is a quite rare gun with less than 1500 produced during it's production run ending in the 1940's. Hunter Arms was the builder of this particular gun. With a clean sharp bore and a like new finish on the barrel this gun has been well cared for throughout it's life. It now has a red fiber optic bead sight on the front and a brass rear bead. The gun has a checkered beavertail forend with no dings or marks. The stock also is free of any noticeable dings. It has a checkered pistol grip with a black cap. The action is tight and solid and functions well. The lever still sits far to the right. The action still reflects some of it's original case color and has a sitting dog scene on the left side and a grouse scene on the right, both surrounded with foliage and some scroll work. It has the LC Smith Specialty Trap rollmark on the left side of the barrel at the action. Both the stock and forend are American Walnut and are nicely figured. This is a fine American made gun in very good condition overall.
