"Moses patent single shot rifle. Bore is approximately .32 Caliber and uses a removeable breech plug with nipple for both powder and bullet. Bore is bright and excellent. Barrel is marked “M. Moses Patent Sept. 20th 1862 Malone N.Y." Rear sight, lever and tang are marked “56" and, we presume this to be the serial number. We sold a Moses Deluxe brass frame example several years ago that had two triggers, one for firing and one to open the barrel and tilt. The stock was deluxe with fancy patchbox with same barrel patent information. You can view it at ://archives.collectorsfirearms/?category=905&subcategory=1169&product=AL4105 . These are rare, odd and unusual rifles. We sold the deluxe for $1750. We are selling this example which we think was the typical production type. Obviously limited as per the low serial and the only one we have ever seen.
