1919 (2ND YEAR) REMINGTON UMC MODEL 51 TYPE 1 .380ACP SEMI-AUTO POCKET PISTOL. Serial number "PA121XX" and all matching with period original grips. Slide with crisp top rib serrations with integral two line address. Correct anchor proof at butt. Correct matching factory magazine with ".380 CAL" and "U" stamps. Two aftermarket 'Triple K" magazines accompany gun. Factory blue finish at about 85% over all with balance missing from edges and just typical light wear. Fire blue still on trigger, slide release pin, safety, Mag release button, etc. so never been refinished or neglected. John Pederson design and if you’ve never owned one of these or any of the early Rem Model 11 shotguns it is a pleasure to see how well made these are. Nothing really this intricate has been made since and youd be hard pressed to buy something under $1K with this much hand fitting today.
