Description:
J. Purdey Single Shot 16 Bore - Fully Rifled. This rifle has to be one of the rarest
pieces ever turned out by this famous maker. The rifle is in overall very good - excellent
condition. Bore is excellent with smooth bright grooves and tall square cornered rifling.
Wood is completely sound that has probably been refinished at some time. Metalwork
appears to be of original finish. It would be interesting to know what the customer who
ordered this rifle had in mind for it and where it has been!
