Very fine detailed Remington 1858 engraved revolver with an aged mellow brass frame, and very fine walnut grips, appears un-fired, with an 8" octagonal barrel with a good rifled bore.Barrel, cylinder, rammer,and screws are all darker full blue . Dusty and needs a cleaning, since it has hung on a wall for display for many years.Gun locks up tight, and functions very well. Don't think that it was used very much, but not at all, nipples look new and no drag line on the cylinder. Bore has very good rifling, but metal is dark.Very good walnut grips. Made by Firearms Import & Export, and is an early imported gun. Engraving covers the frame with fine scroll designs. display frame not shipped . Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
