Description:
1895 THEODORE ROOSEVELT COMMEMORATIVE RIFLE IN ORIGINAL BOX. This rifle is chambered in 405 WIN. with a 24 inch rounded and blued barrel. The receiver is finished in pewter with gold accents. The rifle has a nicely oil finished checkered American walnut stock with a plain steel buttplate. The barrel has a beaded front sight and standard sporting rear sight. “WP” proof is struck at left breech. The receiver is tightly scrolled and engraved with animal figures and gold ribbons on both sides. The wood on this rifle is in very fine condition.
