Description:
This is a Colt National Match Pre war .45 , mfg in 1937 . Ser# C 185,564 with a Factory letter of authenticity. This National Match is 100% correct and matching. The slide numbered to the frame as the pics show. The correct match barrel pictured. The bore is excellent, the action is smooth and tight, The correct high finish magazine is present with the words Colt 45 Auto. The Grips are the correct factory grips with 28 rows between thr screw holes. what im saying is its all correct and matching . Its been shot as most of thes target guns have,as thats what they were made for. The front strap is thin as most are some rear edge wear as where it was held. mechanically perfect with a nice trigger pull. All the parts,disconector, sear hammer strut,firing pin and fireing pin retainer, under side of the slide rail, both sides of the trigger bottom half of the hammer, part of the mainspring housing, the three fingered spring,,edge of the grip safety,are all polished by the factory ,(in the white ) This is a well cared for pistol, Colts best target National Match ever made and is a rare item to locate for a collection in this condition.
