Description:
Offered is a very nice Winchester 1886 Takedown model in 33 WCF. This gun is in aproximately 40% condition with 30% of the original bllue on the receiver, 60% on the barrel and 80% on the magazine. The finish is all original and has not been redone. The only mark on the metal surfaces is a small dent on right side of the magazine near the forend. The Wood stocks are in excellent condition, but appear to have had a coat of sealer added to the finish leaving the stock snd forend in like new condition with only very small handling marks.
The gun is equipped with a 24" round barrel, checkered steel shotgun butt plate, ladder type rear sight and a custom front blade sight. The gun is in perfect mechanical conditiopn with all parts functioning as desighed. All the screw heads are in excellent condition with the exceptiopn of the left side forend screw that shows monor slot marks. The serial number is 137375 (1904) so it will require handling through an FFL holder. Blue book value is listed as $5,000.00.
