Winchester Model 1873.38-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1883. Special ordered with shotgun butt. Bore has strong rifling with some pits. Metal has a mostly brown patina with original blue in protected areas. Very good overall condition. A fine 1873. Comes with a factory letter.
