Description:
French made and marked on top of the barrel " CHASSEBOEUF A RENNES 1849". 23-1/2 inch full octagon barrel measuring about 1 inch at the muzzle. Walnut stocks are carved in a foliate scroll pattern. Barrel is a plum brown color. Trigger guard, hammer and lock are beautifully engraved. Spring loaded sight. Mechanics could use some minor adjustment as it doesn't hold at full cock.
