According to Griffin and Howe records, number 2425 was received at Abercrombie & Fitch as a consigned rifle for well known gun collector Arthur David Leidesdorf on September 27, 1966, using square bridge mauser action in caliber “220 Weatherby Rocket”. A 24 inch barrel engraved “No 2425 Griffin & Howe Inc. New York, N.Y.”. Stock has been repaired showing minor handling marks with a checkered pistol grip and fore end, steel grip cap, and checkered steel butt plate. 13 1/2 LOP, sling studs, and includes Leupold scope on Griffin & Howe mount system. Will include die set.
