Description:
A good working gun at a reasonable price, this UBERTI COL 3RD MODEL DRAGOON revolver chambered in .44 cap n ball. With a 7 1/2" half round/ and octagonal barrel with a bore that has good rifling and some corrosion down in the grooves. Interestingly this gun was wrapped in layers and paper and stored away, somehow moisture got in the paper and left a swirl pattern like damascus on the barrel, and cylinder. I've never seen this before. Maybe this was done to make it lok like more antique? Action works well, locks up tight, and indexes good, and the nipples are clean, as well as the walnut grips ,and has clear A. Uberti & Co. markings s.Frame has vivid color case hardening., and side mounted screws for the shoulder stock use.Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
