VERY RARE! 1911 A1 Military Camp Perry National Match
This gun is part of a 45 year old personal collection. Over the next few months i'm going to be offering several RARE & NICE collectable firearms. In my 40 years of collecting 1911's this is the best Camp Perry i've ever seen. This listing is for a Government asembled National match that was used by the U.S. shooting team at Camp Perry. This gun is a matching 1944 Remington Rand that was pulled from the rack and reworked by the armory in 1955-1958. All parts that should be marked national match, or U.S. military are. Correct matching P's on reciever and slide. 1 military marked magazine. Correct U.S. marked adjustable rear sight. Correct front sight. Correct marked national matched barrel. Correct national match bushing. Correct stamped remington rand trigger. Correct Frank J. Atwood marked reciever. This gun shows no signs of being reparkerized. No reworked marks such as S.A. or A.A. Which makes me believe this is an early gun. I truly believe that this gun is exactly like it left the armory. A must for any true 1911 collector.
