Description:
Rare Civil War model 1860 Prescott engraved presentation revolver 32 rimfire revolver. Civil War presentation from Adams Guards, which was company B of 42nd Main Infantry to Sergeant J.C. Clifford in 1862. Engraved on top butt strap is Orderly Sergeant JC Clifford. Co. B. 42nd Regt. MVM. Presented by the Adams Guards Oct. 27th 1862. This weapon is in exceptional condition. Great blue, Great bore clean with good deep grooves, great grips. Has dings on underside of the 5 inch barrel. The Pawl tooth is broken and cylinder will not turn. Good strong hammer spring. Hammer locks back tight and has good strong snap. TA is lightly scratched on top of brass frame just in front of the hammmer. Joseph Clark Clifford enlisted on 9/3/1862 as a first sergeant. He was mustered out on 5/15/1865 in Washington DC. PLEASE CHECK OUT ATTACHED PHOTOS OF PROVIDENCE.
