Model 1860 Colt Army civil war percussion 44 revolver with original holster (original holster is missing its flap) Serial number 48648 on the butt and trigger guard and 57521 on the barrel and frame. Colt address is visible on the top of the barrel and pat. info is partially visible on the cylinder and COLTS PATENT is visible on the side of the frame. Marked Tex. On one side and initial H.M. On the other side. There is also a faint inspector cartouche on the right grip. The iron frame and cylinder have been cleaned,now are mostly grey mixed with a little brown (no I didn't clean it) and scattered pitting. The cylinder turns and locks as it should. All nipples are present and in good condition. The gun is tight and seems to function as it should. A good operating example of a historic firearm. Priority mail shipping should be around $25.00.
