This Remington U.S. Model 1917 is a right hand Modified Mauser turn bolt action rifle in .30-06 Cal. It has a 26 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip butt and a smooth hardwood grip two piece forearm with finger grooves. The M1917 Enfield was the main rifle used by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during WW I. DOM 5-18
