Description:
US Springfield Model 1866 Trapdoor 50-70 Army also known as the second Allin conversation. Full length 3 band Walnut stock is in very good condition with 2 cartouches a ESA and HSH on the left flat along with the firing cartouche behind the trigger guard. Full length barrel and all metal parts are in the original armory bright turning a brown patina. Both original front and rear sights are present. The breach block is marked 1866 with the eagle head stamp. The butt pate is marked US with a unit stamping. Both sling swivels are present. The gun is complete and functions as it should.
