Offered for sale here is an Antique 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army with the desirable short barrel (4 3/4") in .38 W.C.F. The serial number indicates this revolver was manufactured in 1898. All edges are still sharp and crisp.
Overall this SAA has an aged patina, with traces of blue, mostly on the cylinder, trigger guard and underside of the barrel. There are only a couple of spots of light pitting as would be expected from a firearm of this age that has been used but not abused; on the front right side of the frame, and front edges of cylinder. Good bore. Good, honest gun. Will make a good shooter or additional to your Antique 1st Gen Single Action Army collection.
