Description:
French Model 1822 Musket Converted To Percussion (Civil War Import) made at M R de L Etienne in France as a Flintlock in 1830 as marked on the barrel and later converted to percussion.  The full length original stock is in very good    Condition with only a few minor dents and light wear and marked 1739 (possible sr. Number) along with a unit and rack number.  The barrel is full length with a smooth dark brown patina and stamped 1830 (date) 1739 (possible sr. Number), Cda18 and measures approximately 69 caliber.  The tang is marked Mo.1822 T for the model.  The tip of the nipple is broken.  The lock functions as it should.   All metal parts have a smooth dark brown patina.  Both original sling swivels and the ramrod are present.  This is a very good representative of a civil war import musket. Shipping will be actual cost approximately 50 dollars. Feel free to call me with any questions 218-839-9272 or email chriskobberdahl2gmail.                  SALE PENDING
