Description:
MOD 1899 first year gun in 25-35 WIN. "All Original" Barrel and receiver is smooth brown pating with edge wear. Bore has some ruffness in the lands, but really strong rifling. Wood is clean straight grain walnut and free of any chips or cracks. This is a nice original, 121 year old Savage in a great Winchester caliber. I've shot this rifle and it functions flawless and very accurate "see target photo - first shot low, second and third right on top of one another at 50 yards
