A really nice and attractive Custom Classic chambered in the .17 Remington issued by Kimber of Oregon that was built in the Clackamas plant. An optional three position winged safety is a neat addition this gun is equipped with put on at the factory. Custom Classics either came with two-panel or wrap checkering. This listing comes equipped with the more desired and sought after wrap checkering option.
A really fine piece in the neat caliber from a sought after and desirable manufacturer.
The following I believe I’m correct about, so please use discretion. This is perceived as a B action model 84. See the drilled and tapped receiver fitted for bases (bases not included) rather than the earlier grooved receivers, + the B in the serial # (17R#B).
The pictures are borrowed from the previous owner, confiscated when I purchased the gun to be used for my records and logs. He took great pictures so thank you; something I do not enjoy doing (taking pictures) a great deal.
