This Colt Bisley Model Single Action revolver, S/N 222,246, .38-40 caliber, 4.75” barrel, blued and case hardened finish, was shipped to Simmons Hardware Co., St. Louis, MO on Feb 19, 1902, 7 guns in shipment. Stocks not listed. Decorated with beautiful mother of pearl grips.
Overall this revolver is in very good to fine condition with a majority of blued finish remaining on barrel assembly, cylinder and straps; a majority of case colors on frame and hammer; crisp action, sharp markings, near fine bore, authentic mother of pearl grips that fit well and are tapered and have serrated escuteons (Colt Mfg.?)
