Description:
The Dakota Model 76 is one of the most desirable hunting rifles in the world, proven on every continent, in every climate and on every type of game. Exemplifying the very best of bolt action innovation with exquisite lines and impeccable shot to shot precision, it has deservedly taken its place among the legendary rifles of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This new 375 H&H Magnum African has a highly upgraded walnut stock with hand cut fleur-de-lis checkering (wrap around on forend), an ebony forend tip and ebony cross bolt plugs. The receiver, bottom metal (drop belly straddle floorplate), monogrammed grip cap, 30mm Talley rings and bases are case colored. The bolt handle is rust blued with three panel checkering and the remaining metal is matte blued. A single blade quarter rib rear sight and banded, hooded front sight with flip up night sight sit atop the 24” barrel. The satin finish stock has a Pachmayr recoil pad on it that yields a 13 7/8” length of pull. The front barrel band and rear inset sling swivel studs make installing a sling a snap. A Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x42 scope with a 4A-I CD TDS-4I reticle is mounted and factory zeroed. There are several rack scratches in the left side of the stock above the trigger guard. Factory test fired only. Weight is 10.9 lbs. with scope.
