WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 MK I RIFLE BARREL DATED 8-42. .30-06 cal. As modified for use in WW2. Many Mk I Model 1903’s issued to the Marine corps in the 1930’s. Many modified circa 1942. Matching “C” stock and handguard. Barrel stamped “S A /ORDNANCE BOMB/8-42”. Very good plus overall with the original finish on metal and wood. Shows moderate use as one would expect from a WW2 issued rifle. Excellent bore and working order. Barrel date corresponds to the Battle of Guadalcanal. With originalsling.
