A very intriguing revolver this Webely marked .32 S&W caliber Contabulary /Police gun is built very well, amnd looks rugged with a 3" very cean rifled bore. Action is very tight, and indexes good as well as the extractor is tight. Top strap says. Mark 38, yet it chambers the .32 S&W cartridge. Exterior metal is grey mixed with blue. Works good in S.A and D.A. , with a hole in the butt for a lanyard loop , not present. HAs British prrofe , but this unusua gun looks ;ike a Kyhber pass made gun, as the proofs are hand engraved not stamped HAs a SN 4466, and also a number on the frame 1950 over the webley patent oval..Gun is well finished and well made for a mystery revovler not really a Webley? Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
