Savage model 99F in 308 Win.Built in 1957,this rifle has an unusual combination of old style and new style features.The old style features include a brass shell counter,hand cut checkering,a lever safety,a steel buttplate,and factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight.The newer features are factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts,a flip down rear sight,a jeweled bolt,and the more modern 308 caliber.The rifle is in outstanding all original condition.It retains 98% of the original blue and 100% of the original wood finish.The lever retains 98%+ of the original case colors.the bore is mint and free of any wear.This is a hard to find rifle with this combination of features.A great all around big game rifle and very collectible.C&R eligible.
