Description:
Colt 1871-72 Open Top .44 Rimfire caliber revolver. Scarce Naval grip variation serial No. 508. Bore has good rifling and corrosion. Cylinder scene is light, but about 50-60% visible. Barrel address is good. Grips are good plus with a small chip out of the left front bottom. Action works perfectly. Scarce Navy grip. Also the barrel has been shortened by ¼” at the muzzle. The sight is correct and has not been affected. Note: this revolver has brass backstrap and trigger guard and as the Colt’s Patent mark on the frame.
