Description:
.22 Long Rifle, 19 1/4” barrel, gold trigger, takedown. 1977 manufacture date. Browning marked 4X scope with fine crosshairs on a cantilever mount. Receiver and trigger guard are beautifully engraved with floral scroll and bird dog game scenes. The left side of the receiver is signed by Belgium engraver M. Magis. Nicely figured, lightly colored walnut stock with French style checkering and a high gloss finish. Blued steel buttplate. Barrel bluing in near 100% with some very light handling marks that are hardly noticeable. Receiver and trigger guard are 100% with no discoloration or handling marks. The buttplate is 98% with some loss on the edges. The stock finish is excellent with a few light handling marks and two large dings in the comb. The scope is in excellent condition and the glass is clear.
