Description:
Also known as "Carabina Mauser Chilena Modelo 1895", this variant was designed for cavalry and artillery. It's similar to the Model 1895, but is more attuned with "modern" rifles in size, at 37.3" long with an 18.3" barrel, and has slingpoints on butt face and bbl band. Bolt, reciever, safety, triggerguard, floorplate, bbl bands all matching, with original cleaning rod, no import marks. Stock appears to have had a light sand (1895 cartouches remain). Headspace has been checked as good, but, as always, please consult a certified gunsmith beore firing this weapon. THIS RIFLE IS FOR SALE ON OTHER SITES AT THE "BUY IT NOW" PRICE LISTED HERE.
