Here's a nice modern S&W without any collectible features to complicate your valuation process.
Just an ordinary run-of-the-mill 7shot 686 "plus"
Not pinned.
Not recessed.
No diamond grips (they're not even wood).
No hammer-mounted firing pin.
But also.......no internal lock to stoke the embers of political hatred and corporate betrayal.
This has a 4" barrel.
Everybody's got a favorite barrel length and 4" is mine.
You can carry it in a hip holster and it doesn't get in the way and it's still easy to draw.
4" is enough barrel to do some fairly long range target shooting
And it's a good size nightstand gun.
And this gun has done all these things (very well) for me.
Comes in the correct box with a speedloader.
Gun dates to 1999 - back when my Harley only had 2 wheels.
