Description:
General Specs: Parker, Year 1989/2006, 16/20/20 Gauge, 6lb 7oz; 6lb 7oz; 6lb 11oz
Serial Number: 20-141

*all measurements are in order of:   16ga; 20ga 28"barrel; 20ga 26" barrel

This is one of a handful of A-1 Special Parker Reproduction guns that was sold by Winchester years ago.  It was sold in the white, with two sets of 20ga. barrels, one 28” m/f, one 26” IC/M.  The third set of 16ga. barrels were the German made 16ga. barrels that were produced by Krieghoff and of very high quality.  They are 28” IC/M chokes and engraved to match the 20ga. barrels.  The fine wood that came on the set was removed and an exhibition grade Turkish walnut stock was fitted to the gun.  THE WOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD STUNNING BURL WALNUT! The wood carving and checkering are superb and in following of a true Parker A-1 Special.  The straight gripped butt stock has a 15 ¼” LOP, with 2 5/8” drop at heel, 1 9/16” drop, engraved skeleton butt plate, blank stock shield and finished to flawless perfection.  The splinter forend is checkered to match.  The receiver has full coverage scroll and game scene bulino engraving by Christian DeCamillis of Traverse City, Michigan.  Simply google search the name and you can see the recognition Mr. DeCamillis receives by the engraving community.  As you can see by this work of art, he has achieved Master Engraver status.  Christian’s work demands a premium and is much sought after by collectors and admirers of fine firearms.  Everything on this gun is as new and mechanically perfect, including screws, ejectors, safety, and triggers.  This is an “O” frame gun and the metal to metal fit is superior to the original Parker guns.  You cannot see the seam for the trigger plate it is so finely fit.  The barrels are engraved on both the breech and muzzle end, all three matching.  This set of 3 different barrels in the two most desirable upland gauges coupled with the one receiver gives the shooter an arsenal for all upland hunting and sporting clays.  One gun, one fit, 3 sets of barrels makes one a very consistent shooter.  The gun weighs 6lbs. 7oz. with the 28” barrels, and 6lbs. 10oz with the 26” twenty-gauge barrels.  It is balanced nice and lively in hand.  It comes with the original oak and leather case set up for the original 2-barrel set with all the accoutrements.  The case can remain with us if you choose to get a 3-barrel case for the set and a $700 credit can be put toward the purchase price.  This is an investment quality Parker shotgun that is a tribute the gunmaker’s art and a useful tool for your shooting pleasures.  The cost to produce a gun of this nature in today’s world would far exceed our selling price.  You will be in an equity position if you choose to purchase this gun for your fall hunting season and will have one of the most handsome Parkers you will ever witness.  Thanks for looking!
