Up for sale today is a JRA TRW M14 serial no. 642337 chambered in caliber 7.62 NATO. This as-new-in-box rifle shows all USGI parts except for a new Bula Defense System barrel, including a USGI marked stock. James River Armory produces the new forged receivers for these rifles and adds the heel-plate of an original US TRW M14 rifle. The rifle comes with one 20-round Checkmate Industries magazine, an original USGI nylonsling, and a faux selector switch. This rifle is as close to an original USGI M14 as the average citizen can own without going through the NFA process. No, this rifle is not select-fire, thanks. An awesome piece of history and a great shooter as well.
