Beautiful condition!
Gorgeous wood stock with nice marbled wood grain.
Stock is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips.
Minor handling marks, and one small blemish in the checkering on the right side.
Matte bluing is in excellent condition, 99%+ remaining.
Rear sight has a filler blank.
Front sight is hooded.
Lyman 48W adjustable elevation peep sight.
Bore is in great condition, bright, with great rifling.
Winchester 70 chambered in .220 Swift with a 26" barrel
Overall length is approximately 46-5/8"
LOP is approximately 13-1/2"
This gun is C&R eligible, approximately made in 1948.
Will require a 03 or 01 (or equivalent) FFL for transfer

- On VERIFIED pre 1899 antique guns I will ship directly to your house with the following exceptions:
- NO direct antique shipments to residents of Chicago, NYC, DC, California, or any other restricted area - guns must go though class 1 FFL ONLY. If you have any doubts about receiving antique guns, contact YOUR local gun shop, they will know about the laws for your area, if any.
- NO PO Box shipments.
- Ammo will be shipped UPS Ground. NO PO BOXES. Restrictions apply as follows:
