Whitney Kennedy Saddle Ring .44-40 caliber carbine. With “S” lever. The action works smoothly and perfectly. Bore is fair with worn rifling and corrosion in the grooves. Carbine has a uniform brown patina. Stocks are solid, except for the chip at the toe at the butt plate. Only 1000 of these estimated, most going to South America. Thus making any found in the U.S. being somewhat rare. Overall good condition. Hard to find Whitney Kennedy saddle ring carbine.
