Description:
Winchester Model 55 lever action take-down rifle chambered for .25-35. The 55 was a variation of the 94 action using a straight grip stock and a 24” rapid taper barrel. This 55 like most is a take-down model. Just over 20,000 55’s were made from 1924-1936 making them quite scarce. This one has 96% barrel blue, 50% faded frame finish and 92% wood finish, perfect bore, perfect mechanics and very good screws. There is a Marbles folding sight on the rear tang.
