Description:
Great example of the 'classic' 'Yellowboy' and one of the most recognized guns of the Old West.  This carbine is standard in all respects.  It features a full round 20" barrel and tube, twin barrel bands, two leaf rear sight, integral band front sight, saddle ring and stud, brass frame and carbine butt plate with walnut stocks.  Condition is as follows:  All steel components are now a smooth gray patina with sharp barrel legends.  The brass which appears to have been cleaned long ago and has now softened to a pleasing wheat tone.  The stocks are excellent, slightly shy to metal having been refinished at one point in time and now display a rich oil finish with light impressions but complete,  with light usual age crack stemming from tang that could easily be concealed.  The rifling is quite visible with usual black powder corrosion.  This is a far above average 1866 carbine and is quite handsome. If you're looking to own an 1866 this is a great opportunity to buy a great gun at a great price.

Ground shipping and handling is included to the lower 48 states.
