Description:
This is a lower receiver made by HANDL Defense for the SCAR-17 rifle by FN. The model of this receiver is "SCAR25M". It was engineered to accept NATO STANAG SR-25 and M-110 battle proven magazines for both the M110/MK11/SR25 and the SCAR-H/SCAR17 series of rifle, including the readily available and popular MAGPUL P-MAG 20 in 7.62x51mm NATO, XS Drums, DPMS, and POF.

A serious design error in the original lower was also corrected. The SCAR25 grip tang was redesigned to accept all M-16/M-4 compatible grips including MAGPUL and ERGO. In addition, the SCAR25 lower was enhanced to be user friendly. The arch above the grip was re-contoured to allow gloved or small hands better access to the fire controls.

The original lower was made of plastic and was prone to flexing- particularly around the magazine well. The SCAR25 is CNC machined from 7075 T6 billet aluminum, which is stronger and more durable, so flexing is no longer an issue.

This lower looks to have been at least mounted, and perhaps lightly used. There seem to be insertion marks from magazines, but it's near impossible to know for certain if they're ever been on a gun that's been fired. Overall it looks to be in very good shape with only cosmetic wear. It comes in its HANDL Defense cardboard box. It is not a serialized part, so it does not need to travel to an FFL.

All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong.

Payment
On firearms, we typically only accept credit cards or money orders/cashier's checks.

Our layaway policy is 1/3 of the final total as down payment with 60 days to pay the balance. Cancellation results in a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price.
