,<<>>>Rare Thompson Center HAWKEN model in .45 cal. With a very good walnut stock, and brass furniture. This early model has an engraved case hardened lock, and adjustable rear sight. Has an oak ramrod,with a brass tip and a 29" octagonal barrel with a clean, shint rifled bore, a few speckles half way down , possibly a good cleaning will take out, but mostly clean and shiny . Has about all the barrel blue, except for a couple spots nearer the muzzle where the finish is gone from something chemical touching the metal! Has Set triggers, and a brass patch box. The walnut wood has a few minor dings from handling, nothing serious.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
