Description:
Austrian/German (proofs from both) Guild Drilling hammer gun. (Circa 1900) Extensively engraved including game scenes. Gun is solid and tight. Wood is solid with no cracks. Pistol grip checkering shows considerable wear. Horn buttplate and grip cap. 271/2" Krupp Stahl nitro-proofed barrels which have been reblued. Shotgun bores are rough with some pitting while rifle bore is fairly bright with good crisp rifling. Front swivel base was plugged and rounded off I assume when reblued. Top tang lever raises rear sight . Barrel break lever under trigger guard. Extra shell carrier built into buttstock with engraved cover plate. Great looking solid gun. Thanks.
