Description:
Serial #29327, .348 Winchester, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1949-made rifle that has retained 95-97% of the original blue finish. There is some mild silvering at the muzzle, as well as along some of the high edges and bearing surfaces. The original barrel-mounted rear sight and sporting bead front sight (with hood) are still installed, and there is a very small and unobtrusive import stamp on the underside of the barrel just ahead of the magazine tube. The uncheckered, pistol grip walnut stock and forend are in excellent condition with only some negligible handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about. This is a splendid example of a standard grade Model 71 rifle, in excellent condition, and a great brush gun. FFL or C&R
