*** SOLD *** A nice handling heavy British game gun perfect for clays or game. Beautifully engraved sidelock in a classic English rose and scroll pattern with sculpted fences, double triggers, and chambered for 2-3/4”(70mm) cartridges. Weighs 7lb even. Serial number is 14220. Carr Bros. records are not available but this is obviously a modern gun made in the 20th century. *** The 30” original nitro steel barrels are topped by a raised solid concave game style rib and have ejectors. The rib is inscribed “Carr Bros. Huddersfield” .The right barrel is bored 0.736 with a constriction of 0.004 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.028. The left barrel is bored 0.735 and has a constriction of 0.024 for Modified choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.024. The bluing on the barrel is in good shape with a few small scratches and a little thinning at the muzzles. *** The straight grip stock is made of highly figured walnut and the finish is in great condition with a few very small handling marks. Checkering is crisp. The length of pull is 14-3/4” to a checkered butt by 1-3/8” by 2”. Cast off for right hand shot. Great modern gun for game or clays. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and related charges.
