PRICE REDUCED, I am offering a beautiful, full custom, pre 1964 Model 70 Winchester rifle chambered in .257 Roberts, originally manufactured in 1945. This rifle displays the best custom craftsmanship available today. The English walnut stock was made from a superior quality walnut blank. It displays exceptional color, grain that runs full length from butt to forend, and layout. It is fitted with an ebony wood forend tip and grip cap. Checkering pattern is bordered point with wrap around checkering on the forend. Butt is capped by a Niedner style checkered steel butt plate. Swivels are set on raised pedestals and the floorplate area is likewise contoured. Flooeplate ($500 option) features a bow release lever and is straddle type. Bolt handle has been replaced with a straight classic bolt knob. Rear sight boss has been recontoured to match the contour of the original barrel. Scope bases are custom made/contoured to fit the action. Scope rings are quick detachable by Kimber. Metal work is by Larry Brace of Eugene, Oregon. In all, this is a superior, spectacular, custom rifle in a classic chambering. It is a suitable addition to any collection. Don't miss out on this exceptional bargain. It is a functional work of art.
