Description:
This is a very nice lightly-used CZ Model 75B in .40 S&W. Considered by many to be one of the finest pistol designs of all-time, the Czech-made CZ 75 pistol has served various militaries, police forces, and civilians well since it's introduction in 1975. The semi-automatic short-recoil operated, locked breech design is very reliable and accurate, and the pistol's ergonomics are superb. Using a slide that rides on the inside of the frame rails rather than the outside, the action feels exceptionally slick and precise, and the tight tolerances required aid greatly in the accuracy of the pistol. The CZ 75 has been offered in multiple calibers and configurations during it's production run, starting at basic no frills models up to extremely fine-tuned competition models. This particular example is a more basic model similar to the military models produced. It is chambered in the powerful .40 S&W cartridge and features a durable matte black finish, fixed combat-style iron sights, ambidextrous safety levers, and checkered black plastic grips. It has been lightly used but is in very good condition overall, and it is in excellent mechanical condition. The factory black finish shows some scattered small handling marks but no eyesores or bad spots. The bore is mirror-bright with perfect, sharp rifling and no visible imperfections. The factory grips are in excellent condition and free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear. The slide to frame fit is superb and the action is slick and smooth. When in battery the lock-up is perfect with no wiggle, and all of the controls on this pistol are in perfect working order. This CZ Model 75B should function 100% like the day it left the factory. It comes complete with one 10-round magazine and an original CZ factory plastic case. High capacity magazines are available for this pistol but we do not have any in stock. If you have been looking for a new addition for your gun collection that can serve as both a fun range toy and an excellent self/home defense pistol, this CZ Model 75B would be a superb choice.
