Serial 889xx Manufactured in 1883 7.5 inch barrel 45 caliber, 1-piece steer head grips with rubies in the eyes.
Condition: Nice, even patina from one end to the other. No evidence of cleaning on any of the metal. The front sight remains untouched. The ejector rod housing fits perfect. The front edges of the frame are still sharp and crisp. The action is nice and tight and locks up perfect. Everything fits up well and the screws are in pretty good shape. It comes with a nice set of 1-piece steer head grips with rubies in the eyes. The grips fit fairly well, a little shy on the fit here and there but they look like they have been on the gun forever.
Really nice, shiny bore. A really good example of the original black powder frame gun. Antique ships straight to your door.
