1892 Winchester Model 92 rifle
Serial 793xxx Manufactured in 1916
Condition: Model 92 rifle with a replacement model 65, 25-20, 22” round barrel. The receiver is a natural gun metal grey. The action is near perfect. The model 65 barrel has about 75% dull original blue with the factory ramp front sight. The rear sight is a later replacement but looks good on the gun. It is a half magazine and has a model 65 fluted comb butt stock with a hard, rubber butt plate. The stock has a nice figure. The forearm looks like an original 1892 round barrel forearm and fore endcap. The forearm is missing a sliver of wood on the left near the fore endcap. The bore is about a 9.5 and very shiny. The serial range is 793xxx which puts the date of manufacture at 1916. It’s a really good and solid 1892, 25-20 rifle and will make a perfect shooter.
