Description:
This is a very clean original Siamese Mauser Type 45 chambered in 8mmX50 Siamese caliber. Overall this is a very honest rifle with most everything intact. It is missing the cleaning rod but it does have butt compartment sliding door that both work very well and slide freely. The barrel is 29 inches and has a very clean bore with deep rifling and very minimal wear, clean and shiny. The stock is still in sound condition wirth numerous field handloimng dings and dents Overall, the stock looks period correct. The receiver and rear sight both have all of their correct markings / proof marks which are clear and easy to read. The metal is in great condition and the finish is 85% or better. Length of pull to the factory metal butt plate is about 13". The action is nice, smooth, and works excellent! This is just a great example of a well taken care of military rifle that has seen some actual use in the field. If only these guns could talk, it would be amazing to hear the history that this rifle has seen.Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
