Description:
Rare 73 rifle with a 22 inch octagon barrel and rifle butt. This is a 2nd model in 38 caliber and they nearly always had a standard shotgun butt. This one is equipped with a crescent rifle butt. Serial range is 60k. This rifle shows it's age but has aged gracefully with mostly a turning patina. Some pin pricking on the metal. A couple of spots of light pitting. This is equipped with the early Winchester rear sight and standard German silver front sight. Bore is good but not great. Overall wood cond is good to VG. A light chip missing on the upper tang. A couple other dings and minor losses. Firing pin is broken. This gun is old and looks old but does have decent eye appeal. If you want a rare 73 to add to your collection this would be a good one to have. Comes with a Research Form.
